Becky is with her grandpa now playing cards and watching over us....We would like to thank everyone for all the prayers and support you have given her and us throughout this unfortunate Journey. She is no longer suffering and in a better place. We pray that she has strength and is not scared on her final journey home. She is still touching many lives by helping others and donating those precious organs of hers. Those who recieve them better be ready to recieve that spirit along with them. We love everyone and again thank everyone for their support. We love you Becky and know that you will always be by our side.

Hello friends. Yesterday was the CEW picnic on the River in Guttenburg. A wonderful afternoon of fellowship and of course food.
I didn't prepare anything for my blog this week and would like to ask all of you prayer warriors to continue to pray for Becky Drees and Andy and their families. There are alot of things going on Becky and Andy's families continue to keep everyone updated and I ask for prayer for them to keep supporting these two. CEW news is there are already a few people signed up for the 2011 weekends! And we are looking into CEW t-shirts, if you are interested in attending a weekend print a registration form from this site and get it sent in. If you would like a t-shirt contact Joan or Tami for more information. Have a great week everyone! God Bless Tami When in need of prayers I always come to the CEW communiity, because I know prayer is so very important to many of us. This is one time we are coming to you to hold a very special girl up to God in prayer.
Please keep Mary Sue Schultz's, neice, Becky Drees in your prayers, she was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. Pray for healing for Becky, peace of mind for her family, and pray for the medical personnal who are treating her. God of healing, place your healing touch on this family. Forgiving has been on my heart a lot it is something that I struggle with. Many of us are at different stages in our forgiving walk. The Bible is very clear on this... "And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses." Mark 11:25-26 A small fire can lead to a whole forests burning. A small flame of fire if ignored can cause unimaginable disaster. The same is with unforgiveness. . Too Painful Sometimes, the pain or hurt caused is too much. Still we are commanded to forgive. Matthew 5:44 says "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you" . In the Bible, we see Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Ghost. He preached wonderfully till he was stoned to death. The men were throwing stones to kill him. It was painful, it hurt and Stephen lost his life. Yet, while they were stoning him, praise God, he cried out to God..the Bible says "And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep." Acts 7:60 What may have been done to me is unbearable but I have to forgive. I'll never know what God can do with that one that I forgive. Jesus said "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you" Matthew 6:14. Jesus Christ on the cross prayed to God and said "Father forgive them" Unforgiveness can also be compared to a silent poison. The person that does not forgive does not know that he or she is taking poison but sooner or later it culminates in death. Remember, we are admonished to love and not live in hatred. 1 John 2:9 "He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now." One that does not forgive may falsely believe he is in the light when in actuality he is still in darkness. I've felt this poison in my life so many times, after all God really can understand what He is asking of me...but Unforgiveness is a destiny destroyer. Joseph never succumbed to this. His brothers threw him into a pit, they sold him and hated him openly. We read, "And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God? But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them." Genesis 50:19-21. Do not let unforgiveness steal your destiny. Whatever they meant for evil, God is able to turn it around for your good. I want to be able to do this in all things, I "Don't ever say, "I'll get you for that!"Wait for God; he'll settle the score." Proverbs 20:22 Matthew 20: 1-20 For the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. After agreeing with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. And going out about the third hour he saw others standing idle in the marketplace, and to them he said, ‘You go into the vineyard too, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went. Going out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour, he did the same. And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing. And he said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’ And when evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last, up to the first.’ And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each of them received a denarius. Now when those hired first came, they thought they would receive more, but each of them also received a denarius. And on receiving it they grumbled at the master of the house, saying, ‘These last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.’ But he replied to one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? Take what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last worker as I give to you. Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?’ So the last will be first, and the first last.”’
This morning when I read over these verses I thought it was all about grace…then someone talked about our faith walk. Later in this chapter (Matthew 20) Jesus talks to James and John’s mother who wants to know if her sons can sit beside Jesus on His throne. Even in our walk with Christ we have moments….. Why did she get picked to do that? I could have done a much better job. He hasn’t even been a part of this fellowship as long as me, why wasn’t I chosen? Think about this, the gifts that the Father and Son have in store for us will all come to us in different ways. There are the gifts of the Spirit and if we all had the same gifts life would be pretty boring. The gifts that we are given are not ours, they are gifts and they will be given not according to what we WANT but what God wants to give us. Enjoy your gifts and rejoice with others over the gifts they receive. God Bless Recieved this in an email from the web site Mountain Wings and thought it was too sweet not to share.
Have a great Tuesday-J. ========== Children's Day ========== Today is Children's Day. Children's Day is a day celebrated in many countries around the world on June 1st. It's not an official U.S. holiday but if you are a parent, then everyday should be Children's Day. You should set aside daily time (especially fathers) devoted to your children. Most mothers already spend devoted time. Why not start today. ~A MountainWings Original~ |
