Read this story of the Jesus healing a boy with an Unclean spirit.
A man brings his son to Jesus and his disciples to heal him. His son has a spirit that makes him mute and many other things. The man asked the disciples to cast out the spirt but "they were not able" And he asks Jesus if He can cast out the spirit and Jesus answers "All things are possible for one who belives!" Immediately the father of the child cried out and said "I believe; help my unbelief!" And Jesus cast out the spirit.
This prayer that the father prayed "I believe; help my unbelief!" is a prayer that I often find myself praying. Jesus tells us that nothing is impossible for one who belives but....Lord I really wish that "but" was not a word that I knew. I know that I believe, is there a difference between believing and faith? I do think that there is. If my faith was strong would I have no unbelief? But there is always that question mark for me.
Lord I do believe, help my unbeief. I pray that our wonderful God for whom nothing is impossible will walk with each of you all through your week. Be the one who not only belives but...knows that God is good and Nothing is impossible with God.
God Bless!
